English

American Literature (1.0)

2.0 credits of additional English with .33 of composition, .33 of literature, and .33 of speech. (Course descriptions indicate if a course fulfills the composition, literature or speech requirement.)

Mathematics

Geometry (1.0)
Algebra II Honors (1.0)
Pre-Calculus or Pre-Calculus Honors (1.0)
AP Calculus or AP Statistics (1.0)

Science

Conceptual Physics (formerly titled Introduction to Physical Science) (.33) (required for classes of 2011-2013)

From Magic to Science (.33) (required for classes of 2011-2012)
Biology Concepts (.33) (required for the class of 2013)

Earth Systems (.33) (required for classes of 2011-2013)

Introduction to Engineering (1.0)

AP Biology, AP Chemistry, or AP Physics (1.0)

Additional 2.0 credits in science coursework as decided upon by parent, advisor, and student.

Advising

Total Credits – The student must earn at least 29 credits for this pathway diploma.

Shadowing – All students must complete 3 one-half day shadowing experiences.  One experience must be in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics-related field.

Community Service – 50 hours must be logged to receive .33 credit

Internship – 50 hours in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics-related field must be logged to receive .33 credit

Pathway Exploration – Additional 50 hours in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics fields must be logged to receive .33 credit.  This may be completed through additional shadowing, community service, or internship.

Portfolio – A portfolio is required for this pathway diploma

Senior Project – A senior project is required for this pathway diploma
