The  PAWS After School Arts program is scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the Elementary School Art Classroom 3:30-4:30 p.m. Students have the opportunity to explore fun and challenging techniques and try new methods and materials. Some of our favorite projects include paper Mache, clay garden art, editable houses, splatter painting, and weaving. We have taken a field trip to the pumpkin farm to draw with pastels, which was very popular with the students and their families. Students have also spent time field sketching at Two Rivers Park to practice duck and goose drawing. They are all a wonderful group of talented young artists!
We would like thank Reade Anderson and Sara Waltman for their help in making the new After School Arts program a huge success.
