The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program is and educational program designed for all public, private, and home schooled students in grades K-12 to learn more about waterfowl and habitat conservation. Incorporating scientific and wildlife management principles into visual arts curriculum creates and active awareness of the critical need to protest preserve and enhance our wetland habitat for waterfowl, migratory songbirds, and hundreds of other plants and animals that depend on wetlands for their survival.

The awards ceremony to honor the winners will take place on Saturday, May 15th, from 1-3 p.m. at the Arvada Center for the Performing Arts. The duck stamp entries will be on display this summer in the main office at University Schools. Please stop by and take a look.
