My name is Amanda Haas and I teach middle school math at University Schools. I am a long time resident of Greeley and an alum of University Schools.

After attending University Schools from Kindergarten through twelfth grade, I got my bachelor's degree in mathematics/secondary education from Mesa State College. I proceeded to obtain my math-teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education. Immediately following my graduation from Mesa State I started teaching math at Berthoud High School. After a year of commuting from Greeley, the opportunity to teach at University Schools presented itself. For the past seven years I have enjoyed teaching at UMS and look forward to the coming year.

my hobbies and interests include running, technology, reading, and spending time with my family. I am married and have a son and a daughter.
