Your grade will be based on the following factors and percents:
  • 55% of your grade will be based on the scores of your assignments.
  • 28% of your grade will be based on the chapter test score.
  • 17% of your grade will be based on quiz scores and group tests.
Absences and Eligibility:
If you are absent from math, you have as many class periods to make up the work as you missed. For example if you missed 2 class periods, you have 2 class periods to make up the work. If you are more than ten minutes late, and it is unexcused, you will be considered truant. Middle school eligibility rules do apply.

Late Work and Corrections:
Your assignments will be due the class period after it is assigned. Assignments will be graded upon completion and accuracy. Three times each trimester, students will have the opportunity to turn an assignment in one class period late, but late assignments will not earn a grade higher than a B. Assignments that are turned in on time and graded by the teacher with a grade lower than B can be corrected and turned in again. When correcting your assignment for a higher grade (B will be the highest) you will need to neatly show the problem, work, and answer. The corrected problems and your original assignment need to be turned in the next class period.

You will not be allowed to retake or correct chapter tests.
