Mission Statement
The mission of Early Childhood University is to support the social,
emotional and cognitive development of children in a nurturing and
safe environment.
Philosophy
We believe that children learn through active participation in their
growth and development. They learn from observing and playing with
other children and adults, including parents and teachers. Child
initiated and teacher initiated play are essential components of
our developmentally appropriate practices.
Hours of Operation
Early Childhood University is licensed for children from 3
and potty trained through 12 years of age. The center is open from
7:15a.m. - 5:30p.m., Monday - Friday.
The Curriculum
The Early Childhood University curriculum is based on developmentally
appropriate practices and the interests of the children.
Our classrooms provide:
- Rich language and literacy experiences
- Age appropriate math concepts
- Science experiences
- Art and creative expression activities
- Large motor skills development
- Music, songs and finger play activities.
The Staff
The Early Childhood University staff is made up of childcare professionals
that are knowledgeable of child development, patient, respectful,
and supportive of you and your child's needs. We will provide a
nurturing and safe environment for your child on a daily basis.
