USPTO currently has two fundraisers during the year -- Innisbrook Wraps and the Spring Carnival. The funds we raise have been used to build the elementary a new playground, provide grants to the teachers up to $1000 to supplement their teaching, and this last spring, the USPTO purchased lunch for the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. The teacher grants provided through our fundraising are an awesome way for teachers to do the little extras for our children. Some examples of past grants paid were for increased technology in the classroom, text books, students attendance at a musical, materials for a K-12 Violence Prevention Program, and books for the library from a visiting author.
