Substitute Teachers

Are you interested in becoming a certified substitute teacher at University Schools? If you already have a current teacher’s license from Colorado Department of Education (CDE), you do not need a substitute authorization. If you have a four-year college degree, you will need to apply with the CDE to obtain a three or five-year substitute authorization license.

With either your teacher's license or CDE substitute authorization license, you can then apply to be a substitute teacher at University Schools. To pick up a substitute information packet, please see Charlene Baumgartner at the main office. If you have any questions, please call (970) 506-7008.
