Back to School

We are excited to partner with you for another year of leading, learning, and caring at University Schools. As we prepare to welcome students back to campus, we've created this Back-to-School Checklist to help your family feel ready and confident for the year ahead.

Please take a few moments to review the important steps, dates, and reminders below, then scan the QR code below which will take you to our website with all the details and resources you will need. Together, we can ensure a smooth and successful start for every student.

Parents will have access to their student’s schedule/classroom teacher in Infinite Campus on July 25 

School supplies can be dropped off at the Back to School Bash or the 1st day of school 

  1. Complete Online Registration (Infinite Campus) 
    • (Steps) Log in to your parent portal - Click the menu button in the corner - Click "more" - Click the Online Registration button
    • *If you are having trouble logging in, please contact the main office to reset your password. *If you make too many attempts, the system will lock you out. 
  2. Pay Fees (Infinite Campus) 
    • (Steps) Log in to your parent portal - Click the menu button in the corner - Click "fees" - add each payment to your cart
    • *Review previous years to check if you have any outstanding fees. You will have to add each fee to your cart manually. Watch this video for more information. 
    • You'll notice a $40 school supply fee. We found that it was less expensive for the school to buy community supplies rather than asking families to purchase them individually. 
  3. Complete Meal Benefits Application (Infinite Campus)
    • (Steps) Click the menu button - Click "more" - Click on the "meal benefits" button
    • *Please fill out this application even if it is not needed. This serves multiple purposes that benefit the school. 
    • *If your application is approved, please forward a copy to the business office at lsmith@universityschools.com.  
  4. Complete Immunization Requirements 
    • Click this link to visit our Health and Medical page, which has a list of required immunizations, helpful links and resources.
  5. Register for Middle or High School Athletics/Activities (Arbiter Sports) 
    • *Email or bring a copy of your sports physical to the business office before the first practice. Pay athletic fees in Arbiter Sports. 
  6. Purchase school supplies *New This Year 
    • This year, parents should purchase backpacks (ES/HS), zipper binder (MS), and wired headphones (ES,MS,HS). All other supplies will be provided. 
  7. Complete the volunteer application on Raptor
    • Volunteers are a vital part of University Schools, and we'd love to have you join our team!

  8. Pre-order yearbooks through Jostens (Elementary, Middle, High) 
  9. Order Bulldog T-shirt  
    • Check the "Bulldog School Swag" post in ParentSquare for details.
  10. Donate to the Foundation Campaign $25 in '25
    • Due to a decrease in MLO funding, University’s Foundation is launching a campaign called $25 in ‘25 to help fund the trips and experiences that have become a hallmark of our school. We are asking for 100% participation from University Families.

Complete in person

  1. School Pictures (at University ONLY July 28 - 30, 7:30 am - 2:00 pm)
    • If your student is new to University this year, they will need to take photos for their student ID. They will be able to complete this on July 28 - 30 as well.
  2. 6th Annual Back to School Bash (at University, August 4 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm)
